SGS Fimko s 10 m and 5 m EMC laboratories accredited
FINAS (Finnish Accreditation Service) has accredited SGS Fimko’s 10 m and 5 m EMC measurement sites, which were acquired from Nokia Siemens Network in June 2008. The accreditation verifies the laboratory’s competence and is a support for worldwide recognition of SGS Fimko’s tests. The 3 m EMC measuring site located in the premises in Lauttasaari, Helsinki is already accredited.
As SGS Fimko also is an FCC (Federal Communication Commission) listed EMC laboratory, our customers can obtain test reports on the basis of tests carried out in our 10, 5 and 3 m measuring sites for the US market.
Global Compliance SolutionsThe FINAS accreditation is a part of the development plan for the new ICT Competence Centre. It ensures the laboratory’s capability to provide services for the global market:
At product development stage For approval testing and certification and For quality control The reinforcement of staff and testing equipment resources ensures short delivery times.
When we test products in accordance with EMC requirements we are able to carry out at the same time safety, RF (radio frequency), RoHS testing and certification (e.g. SGS FI, ENEC, CB, CB-EMC, USA and Canada) for the market planned for the product in question.
