Jukka Vuorinen, SGS Fimko received the international IEC 1906 Award
The international standardisation organisation in the electrical and electronic field IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission) gave Mr. Jukka Vuorinen, Ms.Sc. (Eng.), SGS Fimko this year the IEC 1906 Award. Jukka Vuorinen works as SGS Fimko’s Business Director and SGS Finland Communication and Sales Director.
Jukka Vuorinen was awarded due to his merit as the convener of the working group for hazardous substances. Mr. Vuorinen has also been the member of several international certification working groups, e.g. political and strategic forums, working group for the development of business operations and the consultative committee for customer feed back.
The IEC 1906 Award is given as a merit to experts in international electrotechnical committees, sub-committees and working groups working with practical standardisation. Furthermore the valuable work contribution of the experts within the internationally renowned standardisation work is rewarded. The importance of the award is emphasized by the fact that the experts of the nominee’s own committee have nominated and chosen the awardee.
